Black Nation began with Koro — the heart, the humour, and the chaos behind the crew. Back on Oneal’s farm, Koro and Hema Tane were holding up a house when Hema suddenly yelled out “Black Nation!” The name stuck instantly, and from that moment the spark was lit.
Koro became the centre of it all. Whether he was smashing back KFC, holding a Cody, or telling stories that made the nephs cry with laughter, he pulled everyone together. What started as a few mates hanging out slowly turned into a tight circle built on loyalty, trust, and backing each other no matter what.
As more people linked up, the crew grew — but the heart of Black Nation never changed. Koro’s mana, his humour, and the way he carried the boys shaped everything.
